Sort, Cleanse and Extend your Data the Googley way
Join us as we introduce Google Refine, a powertool for cleansing messy data

Working offline, Leon Gouletsas (GTUG Community Organiser) will guide you through this tool to apply patterns and formulas to sort and slice your data. From there, go online to extend and append by using API calls to your favourite web services to your data. A must-see experience for anydeveloper working with databases, or analysts who want to find deep insights in their data with low effort.

Note: The presentation will give an overview of Google Refine and then step through a live demo. A sample data link will be given to attendees before the event so that they may try for themselves. If you'd like to follow along, bring a laptop/Chromebook on the night.  Got an interesting data problem? Bring it along with scenarios to openly discuss and share.
